Toolkit to Disable Automatic Delivery of Internet Explorer 10
Some Windows users are running an unexpected update of Internet Explorer 10, which will automatically install without automatic alert when automatic updates are turned on. This will present a problem for us who prefer to use other, older versions of browsers. Thankfully, the problem for a Microsoft official patch is now retro.
This tool closes on Internet Explorer 10 automatically with automatic updates from Windows updates and it never expires, thus preventing any issues in the future. However, if you want to download Internet Explorer 10 manually, you can not stop the patch from the Microsoft Download Center or any other source.
To install the patch you have to download it, run EXE and accept the user agreement. Once you are working, you have four file toolkits where you save all the programs and run through a command prompt by starting> like> Accessories> Command Prompt (right-click to run as administrator).
Once you're there, type your 'cd' and enter a space and root so that you get four files out. Enter and then enter 'ie10_blocker.cmd / b' (except for the Apostrops) and press Enter to define the blocker between the computer and confirm the confirmation.
After this process is complete, Internet Explorer 10 will not install itself.
