Plaphoons

Palphoons is a program specially designed for people with disabilities related to motor skills or lectures.

The application opens a huge channel for communication and encourages those who use it to read and write.

The main function of this tool is to act as a dynamic contactor: it uses pictures, or a series of cards that reveal actions, wishes and feelings. Users select the cards using a mouse or arrows and link them to create a message.

Plaphoons include various methods that can be used to build a message: a bunch of keyboards, and other easy-to-speak signals, including alphabet, an individual character. It's easy to create and edit cards: just click on one image and change it for another or modify the text associated with it. It is also possible to record voices when clicking on user's cards.
