iStopMotion

IStopMotion made it possible to create an animation movie through the capture of the frame separately. A webcam is the only necessary tool for order production.

It supports features like Chroma (Chroma key) that lets you place a foundation on a virtual background created by a computer, or a tracing paper that lets you see the previous frame stuck in the image in real time shown by webmail.

IStopMotion also lets you record the frame continuously, you only need to indicate the number of seconds or square you want to capture, and it can add a frame in sequence.

FrameByFrame is a free alternative to iStopMotion, even if it does not have many functions, but can also be used to create a small animation movie.

Notes

For Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. The users of o Mac OS X Panther (10.3) have to download iStopMotion 1.10.3.
