HFSExplorer
If you use Windows as a native operating system on Macintosh machines, you will realize that the mother partition is not readable from Windows.
This is the main disadvantage of local installation with virtualization of operating systems using VMWare Fusion or Parallels.
HFSExplorer is an interesting application that is built in Java that lets us read our Mac-formatted Hard Disk and disc images.
It can read HFS (Mac OS Standard), HFS (Mac OS Extended) and HFSX (Mac OS Extension Case Sensitive File Name) file systems with system files.
If you have different partitions, HFSExplorer detects HFS files and uses a tool related to them.
No doubt, the most striking features are to extract any files from the Mac partition and to open UDIF image disks (also known as .dmg files)
How to read Linux or Mac partition from Windows?
The disk drive used for each type of operating system uses different file systems. While Windows usually runs popular FAT32 or NTFS systems, it is EXT4 and its predecessor value in Linux, when Apple has opted for HFS + and derivatives in recent years. The ability to work with units in different formats is not bi-directional, and the default Windows does not allow you to explore other drives used by the operating system, although there are free tools that will let you do this.
