Minimum requirements for the instantboard are as follows: Windows 2000, XP, or Vista; 128 MB RAM; And 100 megabytes of hard drive hard disk space.
Instantboard is a multi-format, multi-bit IM client that lets you access different messaging networks from different operating systems, among them Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
Instantbird creates chat windows and pizins for different network connections using Mozilla's rendering engine.
Chat networks that you can access with instant force: MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, MySpace IM, SamaiMime, Simple, Netself, AIM, GoodGu, QQ, Google Talk, XMPP, Benzur, SILC, IRC, Group Wise and ESCI. It is possible to connect to multiple networks at the same time.
Although Instantbird is still very interesting like grouping conversations in some tabs because its features are basic, which is still at its initial stage.
